“My hope is that as you develop a deeper relationship with nature, you'll develop a deeper relationship with yourself – one that brings you health in all its forms. “

Hi! My name is Alyssa Benjamin - I'm a writer, intuitive coach, strategist and back to nature guide. I also host the Our Nature Podcast.

I grew up in nature - in the countryside of upstate NY. I spent my childhood running barefoot through the woods, making corn husk dolls (yes that’s a thing), and playing in the creek bed beside my house. When I graduated from high school, I wanted to leave the country for the city. So, I went Boston for college and then moved to New York City, where I’ve lived for the past eight years.

Throughout my time living in these two cities, I’ve dealt with ongoing health issues - issues with my digestive system, adrenal fatigue, thyroid imbalances, anxiety and depression. And I began to notice that as soon as I connected with the natural world (whether it was a weekend of camping in upstate New York, or visiting my aunt in Maine, or even gardening for a few hours), I would feel better - physically, emotionally, spiritually.

They say that nature can heal, and I believe so much of the well being we seek can be found by stepping outside. Our Nature will bring the natural world to you in a way that feels inspirational, fun, inclusive and best of all - practical. With the information we’ll learn, we can make small changes that peel back the layers and connect us to what we’ve known all along - our nature.
